In 1999, Rev. Hunt founded the Body of Christ Community Church. A church called to serve the complete Body of Christ as a multi-cultural church. That same year, Rev. Hunt and Ken Snyder co-founded New Hope Great Banquet , a spiritual retreat weekend whose purpose is to introduce people to Christ and / or renew their relationship with Christ. This particular renewal weekend has the added purpose of promoting racial reconciliation throughout the state of Indiana. Over 1200 people have gone through a New Hope weekend and gained life changing results. In 2005, Rev. Hunt co-founded Abba Family Reunion an interdenominational, interracial, summer celebration which was first held in Morresville, Indiana. The event drew over 600 Christians from all racial backgrounds. This celebration has been recognized by Gov. Mitch Daniels, as well as former Mayor Bart Peterson, as an event that all Hoosiers can celebrate.
